Plans for 2007?

What do you plan on chasing up in '07? I want to get:

- Crystal Chronicles DS
- Etrian Odyssey DS
- Heroes Of Mana (Strategy)
- FFT DS
- Luminous Arc DS
- Project Exile DS
- Magical Starsigns (Came out yesterday).
- All 3 Zelda DS games TBA and Twilight Princess.
 
-whatever Final Fantasy games I see
-Naruto 360
-SmackDown vs. Raw 2008
-Pokemon Diamond

That's about it really, unless anything pops up to surprise me,
 
Think that's four threads now for more or less the same topic of conversation...

But I'll add to this anyway.

* Final Fantasy XII
* God Of War II
* Lara Croft: Tomb Raider Anniversary

Those three are for the PS2 up till the month of April. After that I don't have a clue.
 
at the moment, since i now have Okami, i'm after:

Blue Dragon (360)
FFXII (PS2)
wouldn't mind a look at God Hand (PS2)
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (Wii)
Fire Emblem: Akatsuki no Megami (Wii)
Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin (DS)
FFIII(DS)

thats about all i can think of at the moment..probably loads more.

I have to admit that wioth every Gamesmaster I get this list grows but for now i am pretty sure I'm gonna either buy or rent all these in 2007 (if there released)
 
I'm playing Okami for now, after I will study until my exams finish, then play Rogue Galaxy, FFXII and probably another older title. Then it's off to Uni, and I'm not sure what's coming out then. I'll buy Blue Dragon if I get a 360 in time.

Halo 3 - the pinnacle of all gaming.

People will talk about it years to come.

It will be the defining moment of Videogame gloria.

Sales records will be broken, Sony will be distraught over their losing market share and Xbox Live will become the most audacious communities known throughout the world.
 
Any final fantasy game probaly since i'm not planning on buying any new consoles wii,ps3 xbox60 etc it'll be a small list this year :roll:

Halo 3 will be good yeah, but i think that maybe a bit over the top. i doubt it will be the pinnacle of all gaming, specially since it is only one genre, FPS. its not an RPG so it can't be the pinnacle of that, if you get what i mean.

Halo is just an FPS with ****** AI. I plan on getting Pokémon Diamond/Pearl, Super Smash Brothers Brawl, Final Fantasy XII, and any "good" crap that comes out on the Wii in the future.

I'm pretty sure that one of the reasons Halo was so critically aclaimed was the good AI and i'm not sure what to make of "just an FPS"? in fact are you thinking of Perfect Dark Zero?

Nah, Halo is a ****** FPS with great AI. I actually like the series, but anyone who is truely a Bungie fan can see that the developer is continually pushed up against the tightest deadlines and forced to make massive compromises to quality. The fact that Halo 1 is half a game cloned to compose the other half is pitiful. Halo 2 was quite a bit more competant, but they were clearly rushed to finish it and the game itself doesn't finish properly. I just hope that Halo 3 doesn't fall foul of similar constraints.

What i'm after this year are: Halo 2 (PC), Half-Life 2: Episode Two Black Box (hell knows after half a year of slipping 'this year' is wishful thinking), Final Fantasy III (and a DS), Unreal Tournament 3 (though them removing the 2007 name probably means it'll be released next year) and probably a bunch of other random crap that I haven't even heard of yet (whatever this year's Darwinia turns out to be then)
