I'd go with the patch.

The character looks almost childlike without it, at least on the front view, yet appears early 20's in the profile shot.

Hmm, well hes certainly meant to appear young but not childlike, well thats the great thing about prototypes, theyre not finishedXD.

But thanks for the crit, really helps, Ill keep at him.

I like not just how it's drawn, but the idea of the poses that describe the character. The 2 pictures tells me he's an easy-going businessman, like to smoke often, and can be a little twitchy about things (i.e. lighting the match).

But that's what I got. Depending on how acurate that is, take it as a compliment or not. :P

Well Ill take it as a compliment because thats pretty much how hes meant to come across, although at the moment Im toying with the idea of him being a sort of tormented inside kind of character for variousl reasons I wont go into.

Ive recently changed his style again to convey him more like this, will post soon, might need a bit of help to decide the final version of him.

Ok here is the latest version, in sketch and coloured sketch form, its a bit of a departure but Ive been playing around with a few things and TBH this is my faveourite version and the one Im most likely going to develop further.

What do you guys think?
If theres anything you like or dont, tell me, its not finalised yet after all.
