Well, Al Qaeda themselves have confirmed Osama bin Laden's death. But keep an open mind, right? Maybe it's still something orchestrated by the Democrats to keep Obama in power in 2012!
Those kinds of conspiracy theories are nonsense, and all rely on the notion that the US government is somehow hugely secretive and mysterious. No, it isn't. The President, congress and the judiciary are all accountable to the people. The President appoints the head of the CIA, of the military, etc. and their actions are carried out in accordance with laws passed by congress. When those laws are violated, the courts issue the apropriate legal remedies. It really is that simple! The big story of the Wikileaks thing was that the US government was telling the truth ... those documents showed that there was no great difference between the actual international situation and what US government press offices were saying.
