It does annoy me a hell of a lot though with the playstation network, if a game comes out on xbox that supports online play, I'd pick that over the ps3 version anyday. But still, all in all the ps3 is pretty awsome and I'm one of those fan boy gamers that will buy every console (the wii anit mine, its my family's present, but I anit complaining!).

BOOM HEADSHOT! is satisfying. Heh, that vid does pretty much sum up the PS3 at the moment.
While it's a good thing Sony have catered for demand as much as possible and have a large reserve of consoles ready, I can't help but wonder how many consoles are going to be shifted in the rest of the month after, particularly after such a dismal launch turnout. Add to that the price, the technical issues and the severe lack of any real killer app, and we have something that I think will fail to meet Sony's targets for at least six months, possibly longer.
I'm unconvinced of those figures. For one, it's an estimate figure, and it doesn't mention whether that's 165000 PS3s includes pre-orders that have been collected or otherwise. I know there's a lot of people out there that pre-ordered the console but haven't collected it, or bought the console purely to stick it on eBay in the hopes of cashing in like with previous consoles.Xelis said:

Although I think the PS3 is a good console I will probably never buy it at the current price its insane, best getting a 360 as its just as good.
Noticed its sold well in the UK in the first few days but now that the fan boys have almost finishing buying the ps3 I can see sales dropping drastically
Personally thou I prefer the Wii, so much more fun to play. the PS3 has no exclusive game titles (other than Gran Turismo i think) so I will stick to playing games on my PC offers far more entertainment.
