One Piece - Help

Hey all, Haven't posted in this section in a while!

I have decided to try watching One Piece again but require some help on where to start watching from. If I remember correctly I have seen up to, and finished, the Crocodile arc of the story but haven't really seen from beyond that point.

My question is, where should I start watching from? I have been thinking about starting when they take the 2 year training break (been reading a bit, that's how I know about that :p) but I'm not sure if I miss anything too important before that. Any help welcome!
 
Personally I'd say watch it all :D .

If you're just wanting to see the big important stuff though, I'd say go back and start with Jaya arc/Skypiea saga (the filler between the end of Alabasta and that is possibly the worst One Piece has done, although the Rainbow Mist is decent). Whilst Skypiea doesn't have the emotional impact of Alabasta it's still a great action filled adventure. The G8 filler arc, which follows, is one of the best filler arcs for any series I think, but you can skip quite easily and move onto the Davey Back arc, which whilst not essential to the story is pretty hilarious. The Memory Loss arc is another decent filler and short at that.

The next saga I would say DO NOT skip. It is probably my personal favourite saga in One Piece, the Water Seven/Enies Lobby saga. It was the first to top Alabasta in terms of emotion for me :cry: . Another decent filler arc comes next then onto Thriller Bark arc, a couple of horrible fillers and finally the beginning of everything epic that eventually leads to that 2 year time skip and where we presently are in the series, all of which should not and cannot be skipped for the importance of the epicly awesomeness of what happens.

Here's a breakdown of essential viewing (minus filler):

Jaya Arc (Ep.144-152)
Skypiea Saga (Ep.153-195)
Davey Back Arc (Ep.207-219 - not essential to story but mostly canon, very, very funny and would recommend)
Water 7/Ennies Lobby Saga (Ep.227-312, 279-283 are all recap episodes and best avoided and 291-292 and 303 are specials which you should also avoid)
Post Ennies Lobby (Ep.313-325 contains some important plot stuff. 317-319 are filler though and can be skipped)
Thriller Bark Arc (Ep.337-381)
War of The Best Saga: Sabaody Archipelago Arc (Ep.385-405)
Amazon Lilly (Ep.408-421. I wouldn't say all of this is 100% essential but still worth watching for the build up to Impel Down)
Impel Down (Ep.422-451. 426-429 are special episodes to link up to the Strong World movie and can be skipped)
Marineford (Ep.452-489. 457-458 are recaps)
Post War (Ep.490-516 backstory of Luffy/Ace finally revealed. Couple of non-canon episodes, but wouldn't say they're necessary to skip, 492 is a crossover with Toriko and is probably best skipped)
New World Saga: Return to Saboady Arc (Ep.517-522)
Fishman Island (Ep.523-569 present. 542 is a special so is skippable)

I think I will continue it then, just to see how it goes.
