The Los Angeles Anime Expo announcements continue to come thick and fast, and next in line after NIS America's earlier license confirmations comes Nozomi Entertainment's latest acquisitions for North America.

As you might expect, the company continues to focus on older licenses, with news that the Dirty Pair Flash OVA has now been licensed to complement their earlier Dirty Pair release.

Next, we have old ADV Films title Martian Successor Nadesico, which sees both its TV series and movie get a license rescue (alongside the show's Gekiganger 3 spin-off) - no word on whether this release will use the recent Japanese High Definition remaster of the television series.

Finally, another old ADV license in Gasaraki also gets rescued, meaning that we'll be seeing this supernatural sci-fi mecha series in the US again soon.

They've also rescued the original Dirty Pair movies (with both ADV and Streamline dubs, yay) and the OVAs.

Can't wait to see Project Eden again. It's easily the best of Dirty Pair and much better than the TV series.

Good news everyone! Still have the ADV boxes but might double dip if the presentation is suitably nice. I've never heard the Streamline versions, but I love Pam Lauer as Kei in the ADV dubs. Not the greatest acting talent out there, but her voice fitted very well, I thought.

Nadesico I could care less about. I have the old box sat on my shelf half unwatched. I lost all enthusiasm to keep watching as it just didn't seem to know what it wanted to be. Maybe I stopped watching before it got good, but for the life of me I can't understand the high regard it's held in.

Fans who purchase all three box sets at Right Stuf.com will receive a special gift, which turns out to be a replica of the rose seal ring that Utena wears throughout the series, while supplies remain. It will ship with the third box set.

According to ANN there was also mention of the special gift for people who preorder all 3 Utena box sets from TRSI.

Useless really but as I was going to preorder them all anyway, yay for free items :D

Well, a thinpack release of City Hunter would be nice, but hey - Dirty Pair.

"That'll do, pig."
I hear you there man,City Hunter needs to be re-released or rescued.

I agree about City Hunter as well. I would also like Kimagure Orange Road and Urusei Yatsura to get rescued/re-released (and a release of Touch would be good).
