Noir on the BBC?

This is a long shot, but there is a chance that Noir might come to the BBC...

It's live action Noir, though, not the anime, as Starz is producing the Live Action Series for 2012

At the same time, following the apparent success of the Torchwood collaboration, Starz have signed a co-production deal with the BBC, so that the BBC gets cut price, high quality drama, while Starz gets the Beeb's production infrastructure.

So if the Beeb invests inNoir, that means that they'll have the UK broadcast rights.

I doubt it has much relevance to this news, but Starz owns Manga, which sublicenses from FUNimation, which is the licensee for Noir in the US (although they don't appear to have the UK rights for Noir anyway).
