After the positive reception to this year's anime adaptation of Noashi Komi's romantic comedy manga&nbsp;<strong>Nisekoi</strong>, it wasn't long before Aniplex had green-lit a second series based on the Weekly Shonen Jump manga. At the moment, the Japanese "JUMP Festa" is in its second day and has kicked off with some news regarding the upcoming sequel series.

Slated to begin in April 2015, the second season of&nbsp;<strong>Nisekoi</strong>&nbsp;introduces Haru Onodera, the younger sister of series regular Kosaki Onodera who joins Bonyari High School as a first year. In the anime adaptation, Haru Onodera will be voiced by twenty-year old Ayane Sakura (<em>Vividred Operation</em>'s Akane Isshiki).&nbsp;

The first season of&nbsp;<em>Nisekoi</em>&nbsp;aired between January and May of this year and is being released in the United States by Aniplex of America. A home video release in the United Kingdom has yet to be announced.

A stage event for Xebec's adaptation of Saki Hasemi and Kentaro Yabuki's&nbsp;<strong>To Love Ru Darkness</strong>&nbsp;also confirmed that the JUMP Square series will be returning to television screens with&nbsp;<strong>To Love Ru Darkness 2nd</strong>, the fourth anime adaptation of the racy harem comedy manga&nbsp;following on from 2012's&nbsp;<em>To Love Ru Darkness</em>. Sentai Filmworks have released the three previous seasons in the United States but a release in the United Kingdom has yet to be confirmed, although Anime On Demand did simulcast <em>To Love Ru Darkness</em>&nbsp;as it aired in Japan.

Re: Nisekoi Season 2 To Air in April; Haru Onodera Cast

I'm so excited for season two! Finally, Haru is in the anime! I wonder when we're going to see an English release of season one though? I'd ask MangaUK about Viz Media Europe's plans, but their feed has gone silent aside from a couple of PR tweets since Jeremy left.

I'm also happy to see To Love Ru Darkness receiving a second season.

Haru is awesome.

Yeah, I've no doubt someone will snap Nisekoi up for a UK release - the question is just who. Anime Ltd's plate seems pretty full at the moment, so maybe Animatsu will get it - especially as it's a Viz title?

It's an Aniplex title, not Viz. Kaze have the UK rights though so it'll come out when Mirai Nikki does.

Nisekoi, yay. Now to actually finish the first season.
To Love Ru .. not for me. I'm interested in how far they push the bar this time round, from what I've been told it gets more and more ..borderline :S My partner is a very happy bunny over the news though so glad another season got greenlit for those who enjoy it :3

Aniplex are releasing Nisekoi over four sub only BD sets in America. I was kind of surprised they decided not to dub too considering it seems to have quite a following.

That's weird, you would think Nisekoi would be more "worthy" of a dub than most other shows, given (like you said) its following. Real shocked they choose not to dub it.

Yeah bit gutted no intention to dub, hoped they were going to, hope they do one day otherwise it's a permanant no no for me.

To Love Ru, will that get a dub? Does it already?

I'm ill and too lazy to research lol.

Unfortunately To Love Ru also doesn't have a dub (or at least I couldn't find anything when I looked).

The To Love Ru Darkness manga is far more racier than the original To Love Ru, but I don't think the general tone of the manga has changed since the material that was adapted for season one. Although there was that recent chapter....

I'm going to join the "Surprised It Wasn't Dubbed Club". However, it's worth noting that Aniplex haven't released the series on DVD - only blu-ray. So maybe they're planning a DVD/BD Complete Season One later down the line that will include a dub?

To Love Ru, Motto To Love Ru and To Love Ru Darkness were all released and re-released as subtitle-only by Sentai, so I imagine that they have no intention to dub the series.

Re: Nisekoi and To Love Ru Darkness Season 2 Details Confirm

Am sure Nisekoi will get a dub at some point - it feels like too big a show to not get one. Maybe that's why it hasn't come over here yet? UK licencors were probably well aware they didn't want a repeat of the Blue Exorcist situation Manga had.

I have to admit - it remains to this day one of my favourite things currently running in Shonen Jump. It's utterly formulaic, but the art and characterization is so well done you never get tired of it. It's great at telling self contained stories and is genuinely moving in places too.

Re: Nisekoi and To Love Ru Darkness Season 2 Details Confirm

Good stuff on both shows

To Love Ru is definitely getting more racy as each season hits, but darkness at least has had a plot running through out it, good to see we might actually get the conclusion of the arc.

Re: Nisekoi and To Love Ru Darkness Season 2 Details Confirm

Booooo well no dubs equals no purchase for me. Hate to be like that as I know I'm missing out on some good anime. Like Ano Hana :'(
