Nintendo to release R4-like cartridge in Japan

An intresting move for nintendo to make, i wonder if they'll somewho connect it to the Wii somehow. An idea could be that they'll make it so you can download virtual console games to the cart or even specially made WiiWare games

Now that would be good. It'ld probably only apply to certain VC games because of technical limitations, but considering most VC games could be run on DS that shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Doubt they'll do it though.

Demos for the DS are downloadable from the Nintendo Channel on the Wii, so it's actually a possibilty.

Ah, forgot about that. I assume you download the Nintendo Channel, and download the DS games from there. Your DS should connect to the Wii through Wifi, but I havn't tried it myself yet so I'm not sure.

If you have internet, you either already have it and didn't notice, or you haven't been sent a message yet.

I wouldn't call it WiFi since WiFi implies it's connected through the internet.
