Well, yeah. Would make plenty of sence for them to then just go "look, we'll get Shipuden asap, we're just not in the business of abusing our fans. That's Jetix's half in this deal (Oh-hohoho, snap!)" though.
Minus the Jetix comments and the Oh, Snap!, but you know they're thinking it.

that is highly very unlikeley....and it is something i too have been thinking about. it makes sence for them not to..i mean like a year and a half worth of tripe...is $$$$$$$$ for them.
and also dont forget the amount of hardcore Narutards out there....they will get anything that has the naruto name on it...be it filler dvd's....to err.....Naruto Cutlery?

but it would make sence for VIZ MEDIA to soften the blow for all the people who are collecting the series on dvd (inluding me).
they could either decide to release MORE episodes per filler boxsets,
OR
they could still release them as they are but they do not have to continue the dvd volume number/ series number during the filler boxsets, so that completists (like me) dont feel anoyed
(it sounds somewhat confusing but i couldnt find a simpler way to explain it....its been a long day)
