New boards

We have film and games, but i think we need a new board for music etc, instead of cluttering the Random chit-chat board (which if i posted all the music stuff i wanted would no doubtly do).

Anyone else agree?
 
Not really, we could recommend new bands and albums, talk about gigs and festivals. That sort of stuff doesn't really fit into the "what are you listening to now" thread.

Well I heard that SPARKS, the band thats been around since 70 are doing a tour, singing 21 of their albums in 21 days for their 21st studio album together

Naww, We don't need one. I've even seen forums just have a sticky thread for Introductions. Music is good, Admittedly, It just doesn't deserve its own board. Its not like we get a lot of threads to do with it here, anyway.

If there's a need for a new board, then I would of thought you'd split R. Chit Chat into a Serious Discussion and a Light-hearted Opinions board.
S.D would have things like the religious, worldwide news, law and other big (and heated) topics where arguements are fair (but not abbussive if only offensive).
Lh.O would be for footie fans, well-know singer retires, and the random likes/dislikes of the world. Just to say "I dis/like (such and such)" or to ask a quick question.
 
Not sure I undertand the need for a new forum... new topics on a forum sounds ok, but I don;t think we need to keep creating forums for each thing we can think of... otherwise, next forum will be comics, then footie, then sex, then I don't know....
