Probably my favourite manga of all time, Blame!, is being made into a bunch of movies. Right now I'm not sure whether or not they are live action, CG or just anime - but yeah, awesome. Just needed to say that really!

If you haven't already come across it, Blame! is a fairly high concept, certainly highly violent, hardcore science fiction manga from Tsutomu Nihei. The story is fairly pretentious but the art is absolutely amazing. Nihei has a background in architecture and it shows, the style of his art just melts my heart.

The art in that looks fantastic, I wonder if the film will live upto such high standards.

Right now I'm not sure whether or not they are live action, CG or just anime - but yeah, awesome. Just needed to say that really!

ANN says it's gonna be CG, some of the companies who worked on the CG Appleseed will be involved and others like Production I.G. will be doing backgrounds. I've not read the manga or seen the OVA yet but am interested in this movie.
