Between our ever vigilant forum users, Pinnacle Vision and Play.com, we're able to bring you the following UK anime DVD release dates.
  • August
  • Panda Z - August 28th

    September
  • Eureka Seven - September 4th
  • Gundam Seed Destiny - September 4th
  • Fantastic Children - September 11th

    October
  • Astro Boy: Greatest Astro Adventures - October 2nd
  • Robotech: Macross Saga - Complete Box Set - October 2nd

    November
  • Manga Essentials Box Set: Akira / Ghost In The Shell / Ninja Scroll - November 6th
  • Naruto (Uncut): Series 1 - Vol.2 Box Set - November 6th

It's nice to see that the UK uncut Naruto releases will be over taking the US releases by some margin. And seeing both Eureka 7 and (personal favourite) Fantastic Children launch in September is excellent, really looking forward to seeing them both :)

More information on this please: Robotech: Macross Saga - Complete Box Set - October 2nd

Apart from "it's the series which brought anime to the West" it would be greatly appreciated, I know this ain't the right thread. But still. =X

I'll be getting Naruto and Eureka 7 too, though at the moment I'm torn between, Eureka 7/Mai-Hime/Elfen Lied and Gilgamesh, after I finish Cowboy Bebop. ><

i'm going to look into Eureka 7 mostly..i don't know much about the rest..even naruto..never seen an episode lol..i may look into some others when i get the money and have the time.

From those sites it also seems like My-HiME will be released monthly, as opposed to its bi monthly US release. One more great point for Beez and UK anime release.

Yeah, I am really hoping that Beez can manage those releases. AFAIK more than half of their release dates have slipped.

Its pretty frustrating (I am a Planetes fan who lives nowhere near the shops reputed to be selling the last volume). And I would really consider Eureka 7 if it was on a fast track release. Thats a great show. I also admire them for taking the local market into account when they decided to make Mai Hime a 6-disc release rather than a 7-disc release that the US got.
