Even though I haven't reviewed the last volume of K-ON, my score would of still been 7/10.
Glad I watched it again because I did enjoy the first season on my second watch, but, it didn't spark any new excitement I used to have with the series.
You prefer the smoothness of the PAL transfer, the sharpness and slightly greater resolution, can live with the 4% pitch shifted audio, and find it preferable to the combing artefacts, and lack of decent progressive NTSC encodes that usually plague R1 anime, and become really obvious upscaled on to an HD screen.
Well it does to me.
Hell if you're going to get it from the US, try and find the Blu-rays!
