Can my TV play things beyond high definition? Do I need special goggles?

Sometimes I wonder what goes through the brain (?) of these advertising people.
 
Was going to get Ghost In The Shell 2.0 / Ghost In the Shell Innocence Blu-ray Double Pack.

Having second thoughts due to reports of faults with the subtitle track on GITS 2: Innocence blu-ray (it was released on its own a few months back).

The problem is mentioned on the Manga Entertainment forum & Amazon.co.uk reviews,

I was wondering if anyone has already got GITS 2: Innocence on blu-ray & can confirm or deny the problem?
 
I'm confident that "Beyond High Definition" swish won't be on the final cover. It hasn't been on any of the BDs put out by Manga that I have and in fact, it's disappeared from the picture on the Amazon listing. Looks like Manga thought better of it.

@Mangaman - I'll check my Innocence BD. I haven't watched it with subs yet, GitS is one of the few things I actually prefer dubbed. I wasn't even that impressed with the picture quality though, Oshii's love of soft focus (the one thing I could beat the man over the head for) means it's hard to tease much extra detail out of it.
 
Nothing this week. Next week is going to be great though. Sword of the Stranger and Darker Than Black 3&4, which has already shipped.
 
Trailers/Openings/Clips are up, if anyone wants to post further images of these releases i.e. back of the box covers, the DVD itself, images of it's reverse cover if it has it, inserts or other extras please do so.

yep, they always seem to despatch pre-ordered stuff a whole week before release, but generally it takes a while to arrive - got my DtB3&4 on Thursday, but have received stuff the following Saturday in the past as well.
