New Anime Releases 25/03/2013

Just received my copy of Mardock Scramble dvd version. The inside "cover" which is not a real cover, is quite nice. Ill post a pic later.

Indeed, I just learnt the Kaze Code Geass S2 has extras on the DvD version - It's making me think I should never buy from them again if I can help it.

The Bandai release of Code Geass R2 on DVD had Japanese audio commentaries, image galleries, Baba Theater Redux, textless credits and more. And I'be heard that the Beez release had the audio commentaries at least as well as the image galleries and textless credits.

Kaze have nothing but the image galleries and textless credits on the DVDs, and sweet FA on the Blu-ray. I wouldn't get too excited about their DVD release in comparison to their Blu-ray release. I wouldn't mind too much, but as they obviously didn't gyp us on Season 1, gypping us on Season 2 is just cheap.

BD releases usually get less reversible covers than the dvds. If you watch Manga uk unboxings, you will notice that the dvd has almost eveytime a reversible cover/artwork while the DB no, just plain white.

To be fair, that's interior artwork rather than a reversible cover. If you were to use it as such the main picture would end up on the back and there would be no title on the spine.
