Great! I've been looking forward to Moribito now for ages. I might pick it up on monday despite me currently already having a lot to watch(thanks to my discovery of free anime on youtube!).

Can anyone hear reccomend it, what's your thoughts on the show?
 
I finished watching my R1 Moribito DVDs last week. Aside from some slow character building episodes in the middle, which I personally found a little dull, the series is excellent. Balsa is one of the strongest female leads in a long time, and the relationship she has with the child she's hired to protect is believable and touching.

It also has some of the best fight scenes in TV anime, some of the highest quality art and animation in TV anime, and one of the best soundtracks in any anime. Everyone who doesn't already own Moribito should be getting this release.
 
I'm reserving judgement on Moribito for now. I want to know how much fanatsy conetnt there is in it. Because high fantasy is what put me off Escaflowne.

Thanks fabricated, this is just what I wanted to hear, looks like Im definitely getting it now.

however Im wondering how many eps there will be in this 2 disc set, as play.com have the run time of this one at 5hrs plus, while pt 2 is only 2hrs plus :? whats going on?
