I'm going by the e-mail that MVM's PR company sent me. Although I see that AOL are listing it on the 24th as well.

They usually send them out early, so if anyone has received their volume 2 already...

I'm not sure if it's just because of the cover art, but I was sure I read 'the second bondage' on that Black Lagoon cover.
I'll probably wait for Bleach to go down in price, it's a series that I enjoy, but not enough to pay full price for.
 
Black Lagoon series 2 would be nice if it weren't for the fact i had it already. I have that cover as well though with the LE steel case you get with DVD one. Tis very nice none the less...;p

What's the problem? All your needs in one easy to find place.

The only volume with an 18 rating is the last one (the twins are only present in the first) which makes me think it's probably the bit where Yukio is informed someone is going to make her "eat his ****" with no irony intended. The BBFC have always been a little squeamish about that kind of dialogue.

I didn't even know HMV had a porn section, further investigation is required!

I review them for another site. The PR companies send me (and all other review sites) check discs, aka pressed silvers with no packaging or labelling, to review the content. We usually get them a month before release.

Figured it must be something like that, does your site review alot of Anime DVDs? If so I wouldn't mind knowing what it is as I often find myself wanting to read UK anime DVD reviews, which can sometime turn out to be a problem.

The best site I have found so far for them is probably DVDTimes, which can be a bit lacking... I did find another one aswell, but can't find it now...

The sites are DVD Reviewer and MyReviewer

And both (sister sites) are general review websites. A big focus on DVDs but there's a lot of other stuff as well.

Clicking the WWW button in my post will take you to my subsite, a little corner of MyReviewer that I call home, and where I gather all the anime stuff together.

It's still a work in progress, so if you're interested in anime, type the title into the search box and see if that throws anything up. Most of the reviews are MVM, Manga, and Revelation. There is a minor selection of ADV stuff. There is one Beez title, two or three Region 4 discs, and a few Region 1 titles (mostly Bandai).

It's not a shameless plug if I'm asked for it, right? :oops:
