Already have Fate/Stay Night volume 2 and Romeo x Juliet volume 1, received them last weekend from AOL. :D

I will probably pick up Halo Legends at a later date.
 
I want RxJ. It's so slow-paced it was too difficult to watch when it was taking forever to get fansubbed, and I on-holded it. However, the overall quality of the show is high. Since I'm a sucker for romance and tend to like Gonzo titles, it'd be an instant buy... if not for how it's being released.

MVM are behind the times--they need to go for half season sets instead of this 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 ********. Or, if it's a six volume release, +2 bulshit.
 
Looks like most places will be shipping Black Lagoon out at £35.99 not sure if i'm willing to pay that price.

Edit: Just done a little check. Play have a 3 for £15 offer on at the moment, and all 6 individual disks are on it. so it works out much cheaper. Go Figure.
 
How big is the Black Lagoon set? I hope not something crazy like 6 full size cases in a slipcase. I've had enough of that from MVM and Beez in the past, but they are at least improving.

Halo Legends Blu-ray has already been posted to me.
 
I'm interested in Romeo x Juliet but, well, what's the incentive to buy singles from MVM? In six months they'll release a thinpak collection with a sturdy box and some money off. Shame their volume 1 + box experiment failed so hard.
 
I on-holded RxJ because it was slow, so waiting for each release puts me off buying straight away... if the £40, without a box price hadn't already done so.

As for Black Lagoon, HMV sold each individual box set for £17.99 on release. Two boxes are better than one, and both are full-sized... which I doubt the complete collection set will be.
 
Regarding the Black Lagoon box set, I actually had that delivered on Saturday.

Am glad I'm not the only one who thinks the RRP for the Complete Barrage is atrocious. Even at £36.00 or threabouts for 24 episodes, I think that's pretty shocking.

I can report that the box set contains six thinpaks holding a single disc each, in a cardboard slipcase.

Oh, and the show is fantastic. But we already knew that. Best death by torpedo I've ever seen on TV!

I'm man enough to admit that what I saw of Halo: Legends I enjoyed despite not being so fond of the games. I'll consider purchasing it some time.
 
Interested in RxJ but not interested enough to buy singles when it's already out in half season sets elsewhere and it's probably not an AAA series to me. Will grab a complete set down the line. I'm horrifically backlogged as usual.

The Fate/Stay volume cover is quite gory I noticed. I am slightly surprised you can get away with that but it shouldn't really when you can get away having a Alien's movies box set shaped like alien head.
