There is such a thing as burning out on anime?!

I've had friends who moved on but I think I'm past the point of no return ^^;

Nothing for me this week - already own the region A bds for Un-Go and Asobi ni Iku yo. I might get Aria the Scarlet Ammo when it is in the sales.

Yea well I had a thought the other day

Lets say youv got over a 100 dvds to get though and is still growing and If something was to happen during the time and you could watch any anime and the stuff you preordered kept coming, or you was burn out and stopped for a while and/or just found an new hobby or had other things to do,

You'd be left with 100s of anime unwatched and still is coming in,

Best thing is to watch til you have at least have 3 more left and buy non preorders so at least that way you can wait for the preorders you want to come out while your watching the ones you've got

I'm still me I just thought that it's more sensible to think things though, wait and save money,

I think he's just reached a higher plateau of Anime viewing

Making it both possible to watch large amounts of Anime and also not spend too much money.

Afterall if you are not going to watch something immediately why do you need to pre-order, bide your time and get it later when it gets knocked down in price

I usually get burn out and watch little to non during summer but I'm still going string this year :lol:

Eh, I'm at the point where I'm thinking more carefully about what I buy these days between companies making complete jackasses of themselves and if I really need to have disks of a show just because I want to watch the dub.

I'm pretty sure at this point, for example, that Dragonball Z will do just fine if I don't ever buy anything more of it (Kai, is another matter altogether)
