New Anime Releases 08/07/2013

I believe Bakemonogatari Part 2 was originally listed to be released this week, but it has been pushed back because of their earlier cock-up with Part 1. Been reviewing Un-Go for the site.
 
I've got UN-GO dispatched.

Then I found out KAZE put everything on a single Blu-ray disc and ignored all the special extras (including the Igna shorts which I actually wanted to have). Not to mention it doesn't work on Panasonic players. I'm waiting for more reviews to see what the DVD version is like though, then I'll consider whether to get the Sentai Filmworks release instead or not.

Just send it back and get Sentai's version. Don't support this BS.

I'm not supporting KAZE anymore after finding out 90% of the products they have in the UK are defective (Berserk Film 1 and Code Geass DVD were exceptions).

Problem is I have spent quite a lot recently and I don't have enough to get US UN-GO with Bebop BD, High School DxD BD, Elfen Lied BD over the next few months.
 
Picked up Aria and Catplanet a while back on Funi BD

More bad news about Kaze, I'm thinking I shouldn't of bothered with Penguindrum Pt1 now as sooner or later I'll want to pick up Pt2 :(
 
Need to get Tiger & Bunny.

Will buy Sentai's Un-Go at some point, considering Kaze's attitude towards it.
 
Cat Planet Cuties all the way! :lol: How does something like that even get licensed for a release in this country? It surely won't sell more than about 5 copies?

At least we have Un Go to offer us some slight reprieve from the balls out anime stereotype-fest the other two titles are offering us (no, I would not like some friggin gun slinging school girls to go with my anthropomorphic wank material!). Don't think I'll get it though, it was OK, but a bit too "mystery of the week" style for me.

You obviously have more control than me, I just can't stop buying the stuff ATM. My back catalogue is rising, add my LoveFilm rentals in too and I'm struggling to keep up but it's an nice problem to have. Fortunately my recent purchases have been kind price wise :D

Ditto, so much to watch but...
 
Yea well I had a thought the other day

Lets say youv got over a 100 dvds to get though and is still growing and If something was to happen during the time and you could watch any anime and the stuff you preordered kept coming, or you was burn out and stopped for a while and/or just found an new hobby or had other things to do,

You'd be left with 100s of anime unwatched and still is coming in,

Best thing is to watch til you have at least have 3 more left and buy non preorders so at least that way you can wait for the preorders you want to come out while your watching the ones you've got
 
Nothing for me this week - already own the region A bds for Un-Go and Asobi ni Iku yo. I might get Aria the Scarlet Ammo when it is in the sales.
