Breaking news! In the latest issue of NEO magazine, in the release schuledue they have listed Welcome to the NHK from mvm coming out in Janurary. I already have the region 1 set but i will buy it again to reward MVM for bringing it out over here! Much better than that Ikki Tousen crap! :D

There will surely be a flame war soon... It's like Ikki Tousen's the Antichrist, Hitler and Witchcraft all rolled into one! It may not have been great, but please... This is like the 500th slap. (Exaggerated, but not by too much).

On Topic - Good to hear, I was thinking about watching this beforehand, but never got down to it.

Hah! I was 100% certain it was this. Good pickup, MVM!

I do believe Beez still have a mecha show up their sleeves, aswell.

I wanted it to be this in a bad way. The UK anime market is in desperate need of a little variety and quirkiness in its anime, what with Manga Entertainment hugging the middle of the road with its catalogue, and dominating the scene.

Beez makes me smile with its titles, Sound of the Sky, Tatami Galaxy, Durarara! and so on, but not so much with its prices and its exclusivity.

MVM have a chance to do quirky and affordable with NHK, and I hope it hits mega big for them.

In this year of anime mediocrity, I was hoping for NHK, but was fully expecting another dose of zombie mayhem with Blassreiter.

I'm always on the lookout for the next Kino's Journey, or Paranoia Agent, or Haibane Renmei, and let's face it, Manga never sells those.

So this is the secret announcement MVM were talking about a couple of months back? I always suspected that would be NHK. Already have the R1 so it's highly doubtful that I'll be buying MVM's release, but I hope it does okay for them.

Nice job MVM, though as usual I have the R1 already. Since ADV did some work talking the show up before spectacularly collapsing in the UK, hopefully there is a decent audience for it here. The themes of the series, if not the actual content at times, have some relevance in our own society as well (that and it's just awesome regardless).
