Has there been any more info on Naruto set's after 2.2. I know Manga had the rights for the first 52 episodes.
Any help would be apreciated.

I don't know, knowing Manga nothing is certain even if they say it is >_>. As far as i'm aware Manga have the rights. Naruto is most likely one of they're best selling releases. I doubt they would drop it but knowing Manga you can never be quite sure :p

Manga haven't said anything about acquiring the next batch of episodes, but the chances of them not doing so are so small, that there is really no point in worrying. I expect we'll get an announcement about this either this weekend or at some future convention.

They'll pick them up next year, dont worry. My bet is only the first 52 were available at the time.

The real question for me is whether or not they'll be dubtitled or not.
Speaking of which, does anyone think the 6 disk edition of series 2 will get the proper subtitle treatment or just be a repackage?

It's normal for long running series like Naruto to be licensed in batches. It lowers the risk in releasing something so long and spreads the cost. If the series is successfully they acquire the next batch and so on, Manga is doing the same here it's just that when they originally licensed the series they were nice enough to actually tell us they only had a fixed number.
