Few people I know have been playing this, seems best described as a kind of 3D Dwarf Fortress. Looks like there's way too much ****ing around required for my tastes, but seems a cool idea.
 
I thought the free Java version had crashed my computer at first. It hung forever and emitted loud beeps when I tried to click.

I did manage to play though, and I love it's simplicity. I just kept digging huge open cast mines and then flooding them.
 
Nice little game though it looks, I don't really think it's worth ten quid. Five quid, perhaps. But not ten. If he's serious about charging twenty for the full version then he can sod right off.

tbf it's £8, and that's for all updates, expansions and the full game when it's released
 
It's a great deal. For a great game, I've been playing for weeks now- it even better with other people in the alpha. Not to mention placing TNT in a friends house and watching your friendship disappear in little white flakes.
 
What's really fun is creating a huge structure and being like 'YEA' and then you hear a hiss, you think 'the ****?'. You hear an explosion and you cry when you realise 3/4 of your house has exploded.

I got this game about two months ago, well technically it belongs to my little bro so it isn't actually mine, but it's just awesome to play every now and then
 
Started playing this a couple of weeks ago. It's fun building stuff, but that's about it, seems like Multiplayer's much better, but only played a bit.

I've been playing for a long while now, I'd show you my skins but I'm posting from my DSi.

I started with making Batman skins but recently I've started doing others, there's Dilbert, Superman, bearded Conan O'Brien, Frodo, and Hal Jordan.

I have a load of unfinished ones too...

There's a thread on the offical forums if you don't mind searching. :D

I miss those days. Regular employment sucks arse.

I reluctantly borrowed my sister's minecraft account a little while ago on her insistence that it was the greatest thing ever - at least it meant I didn't have to pay for it...

About nine hours later I needed new retinas.
