So Sonia, Chris are you both gonna cosplay?
I'm only dressing up on the saturday althoug as my outfit is easy I can just carry it in my bag.
Hoping to enter the Gundam Building Compo too but I hear you have to get to the registration desk really early for that.
I am gonna get there on Friday when it opens as I have nothing to do that weekend and then either sit in the bar or in the gaming area.... if only the two were combinedd somehow

Not a cosplayer me dearies, I only dress gothloli ^_~ I just save my flashiest outfits for cons and events. Other times, I still wear gothloli even when i go shopping or go out for dinner...

No I didn't, will take some at home this week, I dressed up for it but forgot my camera (noob mistake I know, as Sonia pointed out).
The competitions there were brilliant, I felt sorry for the people eating the rice balls in the rice ball compo as they were filled with Wasabe sauce and they were crying by the end of it. I took part in the pictionary version of chinese whispers but didn't win anything.
Was a great Con, I really enjoyed it, bought loads of manga (some of not porn lol) and some anime dvd's as well as loads of merchandise, downside was they didn't have Cloud Strife on His Daytona bike (model) but no one had it with them.... dammit
The bring and Buy rocked I was one of the first people in so I managed to get loads of mangas dirt cheap and kept going back throughout the con to see what new items were out.
Watched loads of anime, which is now gonna cost me as I have ordered Eureka 7 and about to order IGPX.
Was a bit lonely there though which is a problem when you go alone, everyone else is in groups, next time I go I am gonne try to get my mate Paul to come down from oop north.
Only managed to meet up with Sonia Leong (aka the porn fiend), but did keep an eye out for other people.
I cant wait to go to my first con I might even see some of you. I was going to amecon but sadly My holiday is back on so I cant.
I hope I dont feel lonely at my first con. Know one I know likes anime so thats kind of putting me off going to one

Was the manga they sold at the con way cheaper than you can get out of shops?

The bring and buy manga was, I got quite a few volumes for £1-£3 each, the main sellers area wasn't much cheaper it just meant you weren't paying for postage although Tokyopop were doing the models at a discount, if I'd have asked them to bring Cloud with them I could have got it for a lot lessthan online. I will order it for the next con I go to though.
I also bought a few dvd's for a few quid each so i pretty much lived in the bring and buy area rather than the dealers rooms

Picked up vols 1-3 of Robot for only £5 each - ridiculously good value, given they are full colour large artbooks!
Only got my smut from the dealer's room ^_^

It was great meeting you too, really brightened up the weekend, was fearing I wouldn't see anyone from the site.
I gave up on the dealers room I couldn't leave the bring and buy as the cheap stuff was too cheap to walk away from
