Minami Con 14 registration is now open.

I went last year and had a brilliant time, although I had to rtely on getting in on the waiting list, this time I have got in nice and early, I have just booked my place and will be sending the cheque off to them tomorrow
 
Looks like all the places have gone but the waiting list is up, this is how I got in last time. I booked my hotel so I can drink this year :D

Hope to see some of you there in 2008
 
I'll be there as per usual. ^_^ I have a room booked, & if you are interested in saving money & room sharing let me know, as I may be able to help you there.

Minami is still the greatest UK convention there is.
 
Sure i am staying at the Etap Hotel, it opens in a few weeks (winter 2007) but you can book rooms now. The website is ETAP Southampton

Only £32 a night and on the same site as Novatel absolute bargain plus its only £2.95 for breakfast.

So anyone else coming to Minamicon?

Less than 2 months to go and I am almost ready, I have my Bleach Cosplay pretty much sorted, just need to save up for the amount of spending I am planning on doing
 
It's so unfair :( I'd love to go but I'm afraid I may have left it a bit late. Besides, I'd be traveling on my own. Non of my mates are fans. >_<
 
I'll be on my own at Minami Con, I am every year as most of my mates aren't anime fans and the only ones that are live in too far north to be able to come.

Currently I am sorting all my junk that i will be selling at the con, so much junk
 
The distance down is daunting like. I live in the North West between Blackpool and Carlisle. It's gonna be a mission and a half as it is getting down South for i33. But then I'll be travelling with friends. I'd be on my own for an anime gig ¬_¬

Will be going to the next i33 missed out on the one your heading to due to work.

I'll let you know how i33 goes. I'll definately be going to i34 next year if this is going to be as cool as I think it's going to be. Which it will be :p At least you have the Con to look fwrd to. I wish I could have made it.
 
Only 2 weeks left til Minami Con and I am very excited and almost finished with my cosplay for the event, all I need to do now is sort out the last of the stuff I am selling there and also how much cash I am taking to spend on new stuff :D
 
Just heard about Minami Con an hour ago and I've managed to get everything sorted out: train ticket, hotel booking and even an escort (my bf, APPARENTLY!).

I'm still undecided about which costume to go this time. May be a goth loli for Sat and Saber of Moon Type on Sun!

Anyone interested in dancing the Hare hare Dance from Haruhi? I'll be dancing it and hope to find a few more ppl to stir the crowd up (any other Moon Type cosplayer?)! It's gonna be great even with bunch of unrelated characters from different anime.

Well, if you don't know how to dance it, just step in with confidence! We can do a bit practicing at the Con.
