Ugh, I hate to indulge a comment as excessively melodramatic as yours, but I feel I cannot allow your dreadful mischaracterisation of what I said to stand.

I was not "baiting" EpicLulz on his question. I mean, seriously, ayase, how ridiculous a claim is that? I asked a geneal question because I wanted a discussion to form and I wanted to hear about the issue from the OP's perspective. Of course I know the semantics of a nervous breakdown, and if I didn't, am I not perfectly capable of using Wikipedia myself?

I don't see why this is constantly brought up whenever anyone decides to argue with me. I don't care who does, and does not, like me on AUKN. I am not here to be liked; does this make sense yet?

I may have stifled this thread (though you'll notice I did make a short post about my own experience with the subject - all I care to say really, I don't particularly enjoy discussing my mental state, and if you make any comment about this you'll prove conclusively you're not worth anyone's time) but I take comfort in the fact that at least my presence isn't stifling an entire forum.

You're trying to make out like I insulted your history of mental illness even though I didn't even know you had such a history until you attacked me in your post for apparently making a bad comment on it. Sheesh. It's not like there was need of any more proof of how grossly over dramatic you are, but this proves it absolutely.

Learn some respect for others and their opinions, CG, and maybe we can talk again someday.

It seemed like it was intended to be a rude gesture. I can, of course, use Wikipedia myself, so posting a link to it in order to essentially say "d'uh" did seem like a dig, and did seem likely to stifle any discussion on the matter. Or at least, that's what I took from it. If ayase didn't intend it that way, fair enough, but that's certainly how it looked.

Ok, it was a paranoid knee jerk jab. Happens to everyone. But please keep the fallout out of this completely unrelated thread. This is one of the few threads here lately where people are being understanding and encouraging to one another for the most part. Make a "CitizenGeek VS ayase royal rumble" thread or something. Or keep it in the politics thread - at least it's obvious from miles away that that's a train wreck so we can cut our losses.

This isn't thread drift, it's just a weird little civil war being dragged onto neutral turf for no reason. The only ones being hurt by this unfriendliness are those who came here to seriously discuss the topic.

I plead that for the rest of this thread at least people try to assume the best rather than the worst from any ambiguous statements or remarks posted here. It's a sensitive enough topic as is.

It was hard. Wasn't the alcohol which was making me depressed like. That was just the wrong cure for it. I'm all better now hehe. Problem with depression and breakdowns is the feeling of being alone. Your never alone though. That's what friends and family are for. Don't shut them out. I never will again.

EDIT/ Stop all this hate on this thread!! And why is CG ALWAYS involoved? :roll:
 
I wouldn't say I've had one. But, in the past when I have been very stressed/despressed/upset/annoyed I would burst into screaming and be very aggressive (stamping around, breaking and smashing things, etc.) because of various reasons. This happens still, but rarely.
 
I'm sorry, but why is this being asked on an anime forum? Seriously, this was far from the most logical choice, can't you call a helpline and discuss it there? I'm not trying to be disrespectful, but as you can see, this topic is now a war zone or a potential one, at least.

Anyways, Ive never had one mate, glad to hear your getting over yours though.

TBH, I feel quite content most of the time, always optimistic, I think its because I dont take things all that serious, some might say thats a bad thing, but theres a such thing as taking life too seriously.

I often find looking at the stars at nigh(cheese) makes you and your problems feel that litle bit smaller, and generally relaxes you.
Its hard to explain the feeling, here maybe this will help.^___^

If I was a mod I would delete it because this type of thing is for LiveJournal.
 
If I was upgraded to the height of Modship by Sir. Paul of Anime UK News, my main policy would be to eradicate all the obsessive fanboys that frequent this fine forum, causing unnecessary stress to the good people who use the internet to escape their worries. My other policy of importance would be to give one months bans to anyone who hadn't posted about anime or manga for a period of more than one week.

But, to be fair, I was very harshly banned for the usage of a swear word against a turd. I have now changed, becoming a new man as it were, and nothing will push me off course in my mission to improve this forum.

Im sorry some of the posts in here are truely pathetic considering how serious the subject matter is. Maybe half the community on these forums need to take a look at themselves in the mirror (and I hate to say somthing like that about others.)
