You mean you actualy have a mono setup (dear god how old/broken is your TV).Rui said:I bet there'd be a massive outcry if they didn't release s2 in English. They can't win. At least this way people can choose not to buy them.
(I'm personally happy to have my E8 discs, though grateful I don't have a setup where the audio issues matter.)

And likely from the same people whose only response to an English release would be to moan about E8, too.Rui said:I bet there'd be a massive outcry if they didn't release s2 in English.
Oh, I've no doubt that's what they had in mind. But I wanted (and had come to expect) entertainment from Haruhi, not profundity. Endless Eight didn't make me think "Oh, jolly good show. You've introduced a polarising element which has proved divisive to the audience and illustrated your ability to shock them out of their comfort zone!" It made me think "This is very boring. Can we have some more stories please?"ilmaestro said:I would have thought you would appreciate the intense satire and artistic risk-taking of E8, had I actually expected you to be watching it.
Ironic, really, since as far as the novels go, Boredom was was volume three, and E8 was in volume five. ^^;ayase said:I never really felt the rage or annoyance many clearly did, more just... boredom.

On topic, this is about the English release not the show itself.ConanThe3rd said:Yeah, some people (like this people here) arn't willing to give KyoAni the space to breathe now they've pulled this crap off.
Both seasons of Clannad, Kanon and Air sold very well, the lowest was still ~20k copies. We endure three years of awful visual novel adapations (You can't make gold from crap, Snarky Kyon-MC route for Kannon be damned) and they do that?!
FMP:TSR is their worst selling show, at least for as long as I care to check.Seriously, before it was over, I was half expecting KyoAni to anounce they gave the rights to Full Metal Panic back to Gonzo just to piss the fanbase off that much more.
