The North American distributor Media Blasters has issued its solicitation for the January 27 release of the first DVD of Ah My Buddha, and thus effectively announced that it has licensed Amaenaideyo!! anime under that title. Media Blasters has also formally confirmed that it will release the Doujin Work anime on that date, and that its Kitty Media adult anime label will release Cleavage and Teacher's Pet in January as well. (Teacher's Pet was once released by Central Park Media's Anime 18 label for adult anime.)

Amaenaideyo!! adapts Toshinori Sogabe and Bohemian K's ecchi comedy manga about a 16-year-old monk-in-training named Ikko Satonaka at a Buddhist temple. The temple happens to be populated by many priestesses-in-training, and when he see a girl naked, he turns into a powerful exorcising monk. The anime features Rayearth OAV and School Days director Keitaro Motonaga and series script supervisor Makoto Uezu (School Days, Seto no Hanayome, Utawarerumono). Studio DEEN animated the project.

Echii-harem fans rejoyce. i can't see it being listed as an 18, it's about the same level of nudity as the first series of Tenchi but still now i'm going to suffer depression

i'm out of series on my "wish it was licenced" list

Oh, there's another series we'll never get.

Not that it matters as Media Blasters would rather furiously wank to Voltron than ever cater to anyone's needs.

Even though MVM bring over niche series like Gravitation.

********. Voltron brings them money so what? Are you still annoyed at them because they uploaded some anime onto Crunchyroll region locked to the US? Even though it's up to the members of the Japanese production committee.

I guess the "cater to anyone's needs" part of that was to do with the US only Crunchyroll upload only, and not a widespread attack at Media Blasters' strategy overall. Because if it was the latter you'd better take another look at what Media Blasters have been doing over the years.

"needs". I think you mean 'wants'.
