So yeah, Mardock Scramble: The First Compression is being released on DVD and Blu-Ray on 12th March 2012. I haven't seen the film yet, but it does sound pretty interesting.

Inb4 Mardock Scramble: The Second Combustion is DVD only.

Manga are just distributing for Kaze, no? I hope Andrew realises that he won't be able to show his face round 'ere if he cancels the Mardock Scramble BDs after the first one.

course, he could make ME a happy bunny by making it a Double Play.
Or they could be super badasses and release a Triple Play.

I'm guessing the Japanese side don't like the idea of downloadable copies?

Given how much of a bitch they are to get off the disk, I don't blame them.

Not going to happen as we're producing the BDs in France with our other discs. This means we can print less of them as our minimum print run applies to all of Europe.

Nor will we be cancelling Film 2 or 3 on Blu-Ray either!

A full fifteen months after its domestic première, I must note. This film is commendable, though its viewers are left in dire need of a sequel.

See people, it is possible to use logic in this industry.

So essentially, as Kaze can have print runs applying for all of Europe, that raises the chance of us seeing a Kaze release in BD?

Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice. A Europe-wide industry makes so much more sense than a UK one these days.
