Mangattack! September '06 -one day anime/game/cosplay event!

Hi! Just to tell you about one of the very few Anime con's in England, the one-day event convention, Mangattack! September '06!

We're running a hell of a lot of events and have anime screenigs and manga for your reading too. We feature the most authentic Japanese style maid cafe, an EGL tea room (complete with anime showings and an EGL tea party), cosplays, omaketheatre, masquerade and the all important Cosplay Ball (buffet meal) and J-party (including party games, J-rock and anime music and bright vibrant colours)!!

Date: 30th September 2006
Time: 10:30am 'till late night 12:30am
Venue: The Methodist Central Hall, Kingston Upon Hull (Yorkshire, in the east of england)
Registration fee: £10 (probably the cheapest animecon there is!)

There is only a 200 max capacity limit on this con, so I suggest you sign up early if you intend to come!

If you like the look of it and think you can make it and can spare/raise the cash then come along! The more the merrier :) We'd be glad to have you here!

Oh, and it looks like I'll be cosplaying some people who may be famililar to you- I will definitely (beyond a shadow of a doubt) be cosplaying either ballroom Rinoa or Freya from Chobits for the ball. May just be songstress Yuna or Akito Sohma for during the day though.

Why not sign up to our forum and get posting? We'd love it if we can bulk it up some more.

Ah, similarly, expo is far too far for me! And too expensive.... But oh well. It's a shame you can't come! Maybe, if we get bigger, we'll have an event in the south (highly improbable, but maybe).
