Manga UK Releasing Early 2011: Master Of Martial Hearts

Manga UK have announced they are releasing Funimation five episode OVA Anime title: Master Of Martial Hearts to the UK early 2011.

I thought so to just by looking at the glaringly obvious picture even though I don't know about the show. I am really surprised Manga would license something like this.

Edit: After watching the trailer at the site, it's actually worse than I thought -_-' here comes the all anime is hentai label again.
 
Most of us were surprised FUNi licensed it in the first place. Baring in mind how badly it's rated.

The entire selling point of the show is that it has characters by a famous H-game artist.
It's like ikkitousen but not as highbrow
 
If this picture was all male instead of female it would be so much more interesting to look at...

I watched a trailer on My Bride is a Mermaid and it looked dreadful. It's got cute girls with big boobs, though, so I imagine it'll shift a few copies for Manga UK.

Speaking of Mermaid, I'm totally unsurprised that this has been licensed first.
 
The trailer on YouTube is... interesting. Apparently exploding clothes are making a comeback, but at least Manga aren't claiming this title is anything other than ridiculous fanservice.

On a side note: the promo picture is very good, purely in the technical artistic sense.
 
Not my kind of show; passed on it in R1 and will pass on it here ^^;

(I don't really like the designs.)

I have no particular desire to watch the trailer - is it actually porn or just ecchi?

I only ask as, if it's the former, I'll be amused to see what the BBFC make of it.

Though in Ikki Tousen it actually has a plot and only goes down to thier bra rather than nipples?

Ikki Tousen has nipples in its OVAs (which the threads show also is) and the fourth TV series. I'm sure the plot is better though.

McLeod's Law of Cockblocking Awesome: the better any one japanese thing is, the closer the probability of it being caught up in licensing shenanigans and thus never getting released in the united kingdom is to 1.
