Manga UK release information on their KARAS DVD

With it's April debut now set in stone, Manga UK are talking up their UK DVD release of KARAS. Starring several Hollywood actors (see quote below), KARAS is coming out in the UK one day before it's stateside release and comes with a 24-page comic book and a limited edition DVD slipcase.<ul class="menu">"Described by its creators as "Batman with a samurai sword" and "a cyber-punk version of The Crow," the feature-length animated sci-fi fantasy film KARAS: THE PROPHECY premiers on DVD on 24th April 2006 (one day prior to its US release) courtesy of Manga Entertainment and features the vocal talents of hot Hollywood stars Jay Hernandez (Hostel), Matthew Lillard (Without A Paddle; Scooby-Doo) and Piper Perabo (Cheaper By The Dozen 2; Coyote Ugly)."

The Crow comparison intrigues me but they seem to be putting a lot of emphasis on the Hollywood talent...a free comic book is a nice touch though.

It's out before the US version (although only one day)? How often does that sort of thing happen?

I meant it in the loosest sense of the word! After all, 'Hollywood talent' is a contradiction in terms half the time anyway!

The series itself looks quite interesting though.
