Manga UK Ghost In The Shell: Innocence DVD sold 100K

Manga UK release of the Ghost In The Shell Innocence movie has sold 100,000 copies on DVD in the UK. They also mentioned that the first Ghost In The Shell movie was the biggest selling VHS and that their biggest selling Blu-Ray Release so far was Evangelion 1.11.

Egad, two agreements within a week!

In compiling these figures, one presumes Manga included the copies bundled with the original film in its various forms. From this one can infer that I helped them!
 
I'd love to know figures for the first film on DVD. Actually I'd love to see sales figures for every anime DVD.

Still, we're still miles off Japanese sales figures :( 200k copies of Eva 2.22 in one day?
 
While I don't care for this movie one jot, it's heartening to know that a single anime title is capable of enduring in the UK like this.
 
I don't think I've ever seen this film not be in stock, so... good for Manga.

I've got to say, these last two years have been quality for them. I don't really see any hate towards them whatsoever. It's awesome how they have completely lost their dubtitling stigma.
