Certainly something seems amiss. Back in early July and Manga seemed confident that the movie would be out by the end of the year. Mid-October rolls around and they casually push the release date back six months without saying anything until questioned about it.

Speaking of delays, wasn't K-ON vol. 2 supposed to be out in October? The usual sites have it down as 14th November.

That one's always been November.

Annoyingly, there's never been any mention of a release date for volume 4.

The cynic in me expects that it will be solicited for release on the same day as Manga's promised Blu-ray collection.

They are doing it for themselves with this one, in co-operation with Aniplex in Japan who get to sell the dub to other territories like the US.

Watch the blu-ray collection be cancelled due to people not buying enough of the DVDs. Then again, volume 4 will probably be out AFTER the Blu-Ray collection xD.
