When the aristocracy of a flourishing capital are intoxicated by their own corruption, sometimes the only way to return the ivory towers to an untainted white is by spilling red.
At least according to Night Raid; a band of assassins pushing for a bloody revolution in White Fox's incredibly popular, violent and brutal dark fantasy Akame ga Kill, which will be making its way to the United Kingdom courtesy of Manga Entertainment. At this year's MCM London Comic Con, the distributor teased that the series will be receiving a Collector's Edition and today, they have revealed the contents of the highly anticipated set.
While we have yet to learn of a release date for the series, we now know that the Collector's Edition will be housed in a rigid box containing the first twelve episodes across two blu-ray discs and three DVDs, as well as the following extras:
- Hardcover booklet.
- Poster.
- Sticker.
- Temporary tattoos.
Manga Entertainment have also confirmed that more information about the release will be revealed later this week in an interview with Andrew Hewson, who serves as Marketing Manager to both Manga and Animatsu Entertainment.
If you would like to experience a taste of the anime series, it is currently available for streaming via the Crunchyroll service. Takahiro and Tetsuya Tashiro's original manga is currently being published in English by Yen Press.
