I doubt it, considering it seems to be an isolated issue (even reviews make no mention of it), and I've seen no-one in the US report their discs as faulty (Manga's release used the Funimation masters, if I'm correct, but based on Just Passing Through's review, it seemed to have been tweaked for Manga's release).
