Looking for 3 new series...

I'm looking for some new series to start soon and i'd like some recs with the following guidelines...

1st Series - Something dark with a good story and some characters that aren't devoid of personalities. By dark I don't mean vampires. Monster, Death Note and so forth...

2nd Series - Something more lighthearted but with some drama thrown in but not something that goes overboard on the melodrama. By lighthearted I don't mean harem. Something Cowboy Bebopish

3rd Series - Something totally insane along the lines of Puni Puni Poemi, Club to Death Angel Dokuro-Chan and Excel Saga.

Some new series that fit under those just coming out in fansub would be preffered (don't post links though please).

Very Specific, do you have set dates and times your planning to watch these as well. . .

And I'm no help to the question, wouldn't mind an answer though

Actually yes.

Sundays and Thursdays after college but before pub.
 
Woah, I wish i was as organized as you.

But that'll never happen, whenever i have 20 minutes to spare i just watch something.
 
I'd recommend Darker than Black for starters. It's a Okamura/Kanno collaboration that shares many other members of the creative staff with Wolf's Rain. If you're not already following that, I recommend it. :)

As for crazy, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is pretty wild and a lot of fun. Lovely Complex is another comedy, but possibly a bit too shoujo-ish for you.
 
1st series: - I'll third the recommendation for Darker than BLACK, and recommend Bokurano as well.

2nd series - so, easy watching? Maybe Kaze no Stigma or Romeo x Juliet.

3rd series: - Nothing that lives up to the craziness of those you mentioned, but Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann fits the bill in a FLCL/Abenobashi way. Possibly Combat Butler Hayate, to a lesser extent.
 
1. Darker than Black, maybe Night Head Genisis.
2. Moonlight Mile- very realistic sci-fi, but utterly perplexed by OP which may be pushing it into catagory above. Also agree with Murder Princess.
3. Have to agree with Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann

I am loving Kaze no Stigma at the moment so will also point you towards this

You can't go wrong with either Kaze no Stigma or Romeo x Julliet really. Both are excellent series. Romeo X Julliet is the better series though and it's plot is completely different from the source material.

Secondly, Moonlight Mile doesn't fit any of the categories listed, it's not dark but it's not light hearted either. It's a serious sci-fi drama.
