Studio Bones panel at #londonexpo -"We're planning a robot Anime series for 2010" "</em>
The series in question might be Hero Man, which has also Stan Lee's touch in it.

MVM confirmed he acquisition of both Rozen Maiden series and we can expect a release next year.

From Manga and UK Anime Network Twitter, the UK Anime Twitter has also got a few pictures if you interested too <a href="http://twitter.com/ukanime">link</a>.

I wasn't paying full attention to the interview, but I heard something about a collaborative work with American studios. This may be confirmed later. Then again, perhaps I was too busy concentrating on filing my posters and flyers for safe storage.

I've updated the original article.

Yes, they mentioned an "american creator" were part of the project, even though the project or the "american creator" were not named.
From this comment, it seemed pretty sure it was hero man.

The Evangelion movie situation is shocking. It's been well over 2 years since it came out in Japan and we won't see it released over here until 2010! That's scandalous.

Wait, wot...
That only took 100 or so years. Guess we won't be seeing any One Piece releases until 2020 - reason why the majority of my DVDs are region 1.

Either way, I enjoyed Rozen Maiden so I hope it does well in sales over here. Does anyone know if the Manga series of this has ended yet?

Yay Rozen maiden, the US boxset has always been above the import du...oh wait MVM. Well I guess their singles eventually go down in price after about three years right?

Evangelion? You mean one of the companies actually noticed it had been released? Ahahaha, looking on wiki the film was released before I started University...I'm now in my final year...

I had hoped that Manga were the ones to get that one :(

I think, not 100%, that Stan Lee mentioned something about Hero Man or Japan or something on Twitter the other day. It's probably that, and, although the concept and art looks kinda ridculous from what I remember. I'm so watching it. Interested to see how much Engrish might be used as well.

Actually i was expecting MVM to get it years ago, after i finished watching Lunar Legend Tsukihime, it was a Geneon rescue after all. Now i would of loved to see someone pick up Kara no Kyoukai though...

I stand corrected.
They are working on Hero man this year and another Robot (mecha?) anime next year.

None is official yet, so they couldn't tell us any more about it.

Yay more mecha goodness from Bones. Hoping more lovely Rahxephon like goodness. Though there take on a real mecha would also be good.
