Asked for SAO, DanMachi, KonoSuba and Devil is a Part Timer for Christmas so hopefully I get them then or will be buying them soon afterwards. Also want to try Reincarnated as a Slime as I read the manga and it seems pretty fun. :)

Similar to this post from last year the below is a list of series ordered by their rankings at the time I made the releases posts. This time around, though, they are ordered by their highest ranking, rather than by their most recent one. Each series is only listed once, but the ranking number is that volume's rank out of all volumes released this year.

As bookdepository's rankings were used, there are no ebooks in the ranking. This is also why this can be done this week, rather than waiting for the J-Novel-club e-book coming out on 30th.

Unfortunately due to a computer failure, releases during w/c 12th and 19th November are not included in the data. There are thus 103 volumes in total, from 48 series.

These are ordered by RANKING, not sales. The same rank will be inevitably be a different sales figure at different times of year.
New series will always do better than ones that have been going for a long time, which is why I included the volume number/name in the list.
This being done from bookdepository's rankings mean that no other retailer's sales are relevant. This is thus a relatively small sample size.
If it had come out when originally intended, Record of the Lodoss War: The Grey Witch would have been 96th rather than 102nd.

Fireworks, Should We See It from the Side or the Bottom?/Uchiage Hanabi, Shita kara Miru ka? Yoko kara Miru ka?
- Released in Japan a few months before the anime version of the film, which was originally a live action TV series from 1993 and then a live action film in 1995.
- Published in Japan originally under Kadokawa Bunko, with a Junior edition released under Kadokawa Tsubasa Bunko a month later, and then a light novel edition under Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko at the end of the month. The cover (not final) posted by Yen Press was the Kadokawa Bunko edition.
- Completed at 1 volume.
- Scheduled for release this summer.
 
Really glad to see Yen bothering with more single volume stories. Much easier to take a chance on and not have to worry about liking the thing in the long-run. I also never saw Fireworks when it had its cinema run, so will be a good way for me to experience the story. :)
