<strong>Tales From Earthsea</strong>, <strong>Arrietty</strong>, <strong>Paprika</strong> and <strong>Redline</strong>, will be screened at Cardiff’s Chapter Arts Centre on the <strong>25th</strong> and <strong>26th</strong> of November as part of the Kotatsu Japanese Animation Festival.
The annual Kotatsu Japanese Animation Festival showcases a number of different anime movies over two days as well as other cultural events.
<strong>Friday the 25th of November </strong>will see the screening of Japanese short animated films at the University of Glamorgan’s ATRiuM building from 18:00 – 19:00. These films include,

<strong>
Something Left, Something Taken</strong> – Tiny Inventions
<strong>Dreams</strong> – Chie Arai
<strong>Magnifying Glass</strong> – Kotaro Sato
<strong>
Many Go Round</strong> – Yoshihisa Nakanishi
<strong>
Aquatic Language</strong> – Yasuhiro Yoshiura
<strong>
Picnic Rucksack</strong> – Atsuko Koguma
<strong>
Amanatsu</strong> – Kamimazedouga
<strong>Ants</strong> – Tomomichi Nakamura
<strong>Saturday the 26th of November</strong> will see the Chapter Arts Centre screening:

Arrietty</strong> - 11 a.m. Cinema 1 £3.50
<strong>Paprika</strong> - 1 p.m. Cinema 2 £3.50
<strong>
Tales from Earthsea</strong> – 3 p.m. Cinema 1 £3.50
<strong>Redline</strong> - 6 p.m. Cinema 1 £6.50
On top of these events there will also be haiku and calligraphy workshops, a Japanese market place where games and manga from the UK and Japan will be traded, Japanese and Korean food thanks to the Yakiniku foodshop and a charity raffle to help young mothers in the disaster hit area of Japan with tickets costing just 50p.
