Anime fans in Wales have the opportunity to see <strong>Arrietty</strong>, <strong>Children Who Chase Lost Voices</strong>,<strong> Berserk Golden Age Arc 1: The Egg of the King</strong> and <strong>From Up On Poppy Hill</strong> on the big screen when they are shown at the Kotatsu Japanese Animation Festival at Chapter Arts in Cardiff on the 01st of December.
The times break down like this:
<strong>Arrietty</strong>: 11.00am -13.00am
<strong>Arrietty</strong>: 15.00pm
<strong>Children Who Chase Lost Voices</strong>: 15.30pm
<strong>Berserk Golden Age Arc 1: The Egg of the King</strong>: 18.00pm
<strong>From Up On Poppy Hill</strong>: 20.00pm
On top of the awesome anime movies, there will be a screening of a series of short films by Tsuneo Goda centering around <strong>Komaneko, a Curious Cat</strong>. These screening will be followed by a live Q&A session with the director Tsuneo Goda and stop-motion animatior Hirokazu Minegishi, via skype from Japan. There will also be the opportunity to buy Japanese food, art, games and do-jinshi. Futhermore Asuka Tanaka (<strong>Kodawari-Chaya: AKATSUKI</strong>) will hold a manga drawing workshop at 15:00 (booking required).
