Kaze and MangaUK to release Un-Go

Remember earlier this year when Kaze UK mentioned on their twitter how they had the physical release rights to a few of their shows, including Un-Go? Well, today the company tweeted that they are in fact going to be releasing the show. Like Professor Layton & The Eternal Diva and Tiger & Bunny, it will be released with Manga UK.

As MangaUK aren't a fan of sub-only releases, this could prove that Un-Go does have an English dub in the works - possibly by Sentai Filmworks, who have licensed the show in North America.

No release date has been announced yet.
 
As far as I know Sentai Filmworks will be releasing the show on Blu-Ray so that is an obvious indicator that it will be dubbed, most of their other Blu-Rays all have English dubs on them.

Also Episode 0 has been announced to for the set I Believe.
 
KazeUK mentioned previously (when I asked them) that they did have the rights to episode 0, but they weren't sure if they were allowed to stream it.

I'm sure that even if it wasn't dubbed, it would have been included in the set. After all, Beez included the Lucky Star OVA in their collection, despite it being sub-only while the rest of the series had a dub, so it was always a possibility.
 
This one really surprsed me with how good it has turned out to be (So far. I'm not completely up to date.) While I enjoyed the first few episodes I was worried about the direction it seemed to be heading in but fortunately they went in a slightly different direction.
 
The more I think about it, the more this show deserves a second viewing. The main story is told in a very subtle way for the most part, I would like to see a release date announced soon.
