The official website for the Kara no Kyoukai series has announced that there is an animated film adaptation of the novel Kara no Kyoukai: Mirai Fukuin (Gospel in the Future) in development. The film will be adapting two stories and three short manga chapters which take place after the events of the main series.



Synopsis

<em>M&ouml;bius Ring - Seo Shizune and Kuramitsu Meruka are both psychics who can foresee the future. This has led to the two having different feeling about their powers. Shizune is sick of her predictable boring life while Meruka has taken advantage of his ability to become a professional bomber. When Shizune met Mikiya and when Meruka met Shiki, their immutable futures start to change.

M&ouml;bius Link &ndash; This takes place ten years after the events of Kara no Kyoukai, Mana Ryougi, Shiki&rsquo;s daughter, spends the day with Kamekura Mitsuru.

Manga shorts:

Feline &ndash; Shiki takes care of a cat for Mikiya.

Daylight &ndash; Fujino Asagami helps a friend of one of Kirie Fujou&rsquo;s victims get over her death.

Say Grace &ndash; Shiki asks Mikiya out on New Years.</em>

I'm surprised there aren't more comments on this, considering the positive reaction to the BD box of KnK! (Unless there is another thread somewhere that I am about to stumble upon).

It's possible that TM's stuff is going to start suffering from over-exposure soon as the popularity has just shot up and up in the last couple of years, but for the moment any announcement like this still has me super positive.

I'm all for more TM stuff :p, I need to finish the main Kara no Kyoukai series actually...
