Whenever I get annoyed by a post, I look at it & see whether they meant to cause any offense or whether it was unintentional. If it appears to be unintentional, I disregard it without being bothered by it, because I know they would have spoken differently if they had known it would cause offense.

Have faith in the good in people.

Where as i read most of your posts and lol because within minutes of posting a sensible post....somewhere else on here you'll change the pokemon theme tune into a hentai merely for laughs.

Yup. ^_^ Its fun to be able to be both mature or immature depending on the needs of the situation.

errm.. can we keep on topic please. if ur gonna argue, go elsewhere. We are discussing why inuyasha didnt make a hit in the Uk when it managed to in all other countrys it went to...

Uh oh, its the thread police! *hides*

I don't recall ever seeing Inuyasha for sale in shops in the UK. Not being on sale in a shop tends to negatively affect sales.

Its on R1 though, so all is well.

The first 13 eps was released by Fabulous Films a while ago but then they stopped. Now if the license was given to Manga Ent then we would probably have the whole thing now.

I believe (s)he was talking about inu yasha on TV. I never knew it was been aired, but it seems that google didn't help with more info.

Uixka, can you tell me which channel used to air Inu Yasha?
Also, Why did it fail in the UK? Possibly because no one knew it was being aired.

Quick check on Viz website (as they hold the license in america) and it tells me that they don't have the license for europe. And to be honest with you, unless it gets TV time, I don't see any anime distributor picking up inu yasha in the UK. Sad, I know. :(

I'm a HE chaos... ROFL!. and i was infact referring to the DVD releases, as i know it hasnt ever been aired on any channel in the uk, and if it ever did, how much do u all wanna bet it would get put on summit like Jetix where they will simultaniously CUT OUT all of the action and raunchy bits (well, to the UK producers anyway, the americans and the rest of the world see no harm in those parts which make the anime watchable) and instead we will have 15 mins of an absolute load of diatribe??? LOL so it would probably fail on UK tv if it DID air anyway :p but yeah- friggen fabulous films.. WHY they got the liscence i will NEVER know- manga ent SHOULD have got it. jeeeezus.

Possibly didn't sell good enough for more releases? The only time I ever saw it being sold in the UK was online, at play.com; even then I didn't know it was being sold until somebody on here stated it was going to be released on R2 in the UK.

First few episodes were fine, after those it just got kinda dull anyway. Probably thought what's the point in releasing the rest of the series if they're not making much from it.
Only way you're bound to find out why they don't release the entire series is if you go contact the company itself somehow.

Because it isn't the greatest...
It's a matter of opinion.... =P
No, I'm pretty sure it's a fact.

Since when has it been a fact?

What is the greatest anime then?
You need help removing that stick from your ass? It's a joke.

I was joking as well, though I half expected someone to take the bait. :)

In my opinion there is no one best anime as there are new films & shows being produced all the time.

I have been watching since the mid 1990s and my fav anime has changed many times.

You also have to consider the fact that different people have different tastes and therefore they will have different fav anime.

I saw it on DVD once in a HMV in London and it looked terrible. The cover looked like it was printed on cheap A4 paper then handfolded into the case. I couldn't imagine what the transfer looked like.
