In an interview with Time Magazine, superstar shoujo manga-ka Natsuki Takaya; author of the ever popular "romantic drama" Fruits Basket, has spoken of her most famous work and why she feels it's finding an audience beyond Japan.

Similiarly, StarBullentin.com have produced a lengthy feature (with quotes) on Jin Kobayashi and his most famous manga creation - high school comedy School Rumble.

 Jin Kobayashi is Harima Kenji (I almost expected that whilst watching Harima drawing his manga featuring a lead character that looked suspiciously like himself ;)) :D. It's really nice to hear about School Rumble in his own words.

I suppose in the case of Fruits Basket a good story is a good story, and it will be appreciated as such the world over. I'm actually glad she's planning on ending it in the next few months and starting something else - I'd hate to see it go stale from being drawn out (and of course fans will be eager to see how the characters end up!)

It's a pleasant surprise to see she's a fellow CSI fan though!

Nice to read a interview from Natsuki Takaya, being such a fan of Fruits Basket myself (though i really should be reading more of the manga), and i also agree that it's right that she should be bring the story to a close however much it saddens me also
