Twitch have posted an interesting interview with world famous anime director Satoshi Kon (Paranoia Agent, Perfect Blue); quizzing him on the psychological themes that often crop up in his works as well as discussing his newest sci-fi movie Paprika.

That only makes me even more enthusiastic about seeing Paprika next month! It's good to hear he makes a deliberate attempt at doing his own thing and not following conventions. I'm not as surprised that he's an admirer of Terry Gilliam though - both of them share a similar quality of originality in their films.
