It has been announced that Zipangu Fest is to show independent anime on two nights next month at the Institute of Contemporary Arts.
Zipangu fest is a film festival dedicated to showing the latest in cutting edge Japanese cinema. It covers live-action and animation, documentaries, features and shorts and it all takes place at London's ICA cinema. The anime portion of the programme is called <a href="http://www.ica.org.uk/30630/Film/Beyond-Anime-The-Outer-Limits.html">Beyond Anime: The Outer Limits</a> with two days dedicated to these titles, one on the Saturday 19th of November from 16:00 and the other on Wednesday 23rd of November from 20:45. The titles are many and varied and include:

Takashi Makino will have three of his films, Intimate Stars, Elements of Nothing and Enter Your Star, shown in another programme called <a href="http://www.ica.org.uk/30666/Film/Enter-the-Cosmos-Takashi-Makino-Special.html">Enter the Cosmos</a> which will be screened at 8.30 p.m on Satuday the 19th of November. Also due to be screened is Makino’s 18-minute film Still in Cosmos at Zipangu Fest's benefit night for the Japan disaster fund at Café Oto in Dalston on November 22nd.
