I'm officially getting Married

Its official I am getting Married......... OMG!!!

Went to see the local Deacon today (my gf is Catholic so we are getting married in a catholic church)

Got the date we wanted 20th June 2009 :D and as far as I know no Anime Cons happen at that time.

So now all we need is somewhere to get drunk afterwards

Apparently I have to go to classes before we can get married there, really weird but they are only 4 x 2 hour sessions, one of my mates kept bursting into laughter when he had to go.... I will be even worse as I am not religious and tend to question it really easily
 
:lol: ah well done mate. i guess you'll need to learn not to laugh then and dont ask questions. do the ol sit down, shut up and doodle on some paper technique.
 
Whoo, Congratulation McIcy. Now your life is now restricted, soon you will have kids and your budget will get lower and lower. Plus you have to deal with teenager angst... in many years time.

Enjoy it, Marraige have an awesome start, but ends up being a disaster... (My sister's words, not mine =p)

Still a few years before kids come along as I want a few years without having those worries plus I wanna travel the world a bit too

There will be photo's of the big day we have enough pro photographers in the family so a few hundred pics will be floating around various facebook accounts

As for Teenage Angst with kids.... I am taking the words of wisdom from Henry Rollins, we will bemore hardcore than our kids, they'll come home with techno beats and I'll show them metallica and maiden and tell them what real partying is... I just hope I don't make them cry

:lol: It worked on me. I was brought up listening to Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, Led Zepplin, Jethro Tull, Alice Cooper etc. and I hate lal the chav music. :lol: So glad.
 
Congratulations McIcy!! Soon the Padlock of love will have you locked away forever. Hah! Anyways matey. Good to hear your taken this on man. Big step an all. I won't be ready for marriage for a while yet, however much my sisters tells me to propose. :p

[edit]: Just read that back and it sounds well dodgy. I was refering to my sister telling me propose to my misses. lol pwn

Oddly enough she wasn't too happy with the suggestion.... until I showed her the wedding dress from onegai teacher and she said she would think about it
