Videogames, i'm definetly more of a gamer than an... otaku? anyway i always have and i don't think any hobby could take over gaming for me, i'm even doing a degree in games design.
 
Video games, I'm getting out of the whole anime craze O__O;
I do still love manga though XD;
BUT YEAH.

i've been a gamer all my life, so i would say gamer probably, though i'm probably getting more into anime/manga as i get older
 
Not sure which I'd choose I love my PSP and it kills the time on long journeys

But anime, I watch it atr home and work so it has to win out
 
anime deffinately.Yesterday i bought Devil May Cry 3 and was left wondering when i got home 'why?' It was odd as i just don't 'do' videogrames and kind of regret buying it as i will deffinately not take full advantage of it no matter how good it is.I mean i use to play crash bandicoot back in the day but that was it :p
 
Videogames, surprisingly. You can always find one that is appropriate for all situations, and it's difficult to watch anime on the bus. Although, to trump videogames, manga is best. Though, it's hard to read manga or play videogames whilst eating, which you can do whilst watching anime (dubbed is easier than subbed). Hmm... what a never ending conflict.
 
Videogames. The choice is as obvious for me personally as "would you like a slap?".

I've been playing videogames for two decades, my flirtation with anime started ten years ago when it was becoming 'cool' and Manga had started pumping out quality videos.

What I refer to as anime and what others think of it as are often two different things. My tastes are stuck with what was released a decade ago in the UK. Films and OAVs, sci-fi, horror and violence. What's evolved from that leaves me cold.

The kind of anime getting released these days just doesn't do it for me at all, I've struggled to watch snippets on youtube, tried renting some. It bores me, the 'jokes' seem to have been done a thousand times before and are cringeworthy. Anything gory/dramatic seems overloaded with er.. silent histrionics? 'Wobbly' damp eyes and silent misery. Where's the catgirls with bazookas at?

Angel Cop, Fist of the NorthStar, Bounty Dog, Guyver, Golgo 13, Akira, Tank Police, Laputa, 3x3 Eyes, KO Century Beast Warriors and Armitage III are what I call anime.

Despite having fossilised tastes in anime, I love this board and discussing video games. I just hope some of my favourites eventually get released on R2 DVD.
 
anime all the way games are just to boring and dont intrest me at all even though they used to A guess after playing them for a while they get boring

I go for Video Games. I been a Gamer for all my life, and love my games. So, I might be happy if I traded Ichigo Kurosaki for Cloud Strife (Though I still want them both).

But I hope I never get to choose between them in Real life.

And to all those people who regret buying video games, we got a invention, wanna hear it.

Its called BlockBuster or Official magazines with Demo Give aways, or the Internet where you watch videos....

This isn't the 90s you know or before the 90s
